Great selection of pickup trucks. Rather than peruse a brochure, my preference is seeing them in person. Look at the various exterior colour selections and interior options. Knowledgeable and personable sales representatives. The showrooms is well appointed with ice water for these oppressive heat days!.

My Dodge Dart left me stranded at midnight on Thursday parked in a tow zone, apparently it had a defective shift cable bushing recalled that I was unaware of until it was too late. My car wouldn't shift from park into any gear. After having it towed home well into the early hours I thought the hard part was over. Boy was I wrong. Every Dodge dealership in the greater Austin area, informed me over the course of several hours, that the wait would be 10-14 days just to order the part.. 2 weeks for one tiny little piece of plastic! They all stated the manufacturer would only ship one part every ten days and I was in for a long wait....really had me rethinking my decision to buy a Dodge in the first place and questioning if I can expect this same kind of timely response from the manufacturer on future needed parts. Covert Chrysler Jeep and Dodge was absolutely rude about it like 14 days was perfectly acceptable time to replace a shift cable bushing... when I could literally pop the hood and manually shift the car into gear myself. I even watched a YouTube video replace it in literally a minute and a half. Anyway Nyle Maxwell Austin was the last to get back with me but definitely worth the wait. They were by far the most prepared and professional. They totally saved my day or really my entire month. The car was towed to their facility at 4pm on Friday at no cost to me... for that I can say thank you Dodge. Representative with Nyle Maxwell calls me personally to let me know the car had arrived and I would be hearing back Monday morning. I was under the impression it would be an extended period of time to get the part. So as I am making rental car arrangements Monday morning, imagine my suprise when my phone rings, with a friendly voice letting me know my vehicle was ready for pick up. Nyle Maxwell really came through for me and has definitely earned my future business and referrals. Who knew a simple fix would be so complicated. Thank you Nyle Maxwell Austin

They need more service writers. Always long lines. Also, I was contacted for a recall then was told they did not have parts.

I am only commenting on the service side. I had no problems here. I took my ram 2500 here for recalls. I don't think they treated me any different than a new dodge owner. I didn't notice new scratches or oil leaks after the recall and servicing. What more could you ask for...well they were kind enough to mention I needed like 5 new parts on my front end. Not surprising on a 14 year old truck with 300,000 miles. The sales side of the house looked nice, can't comment on their service. Recommend.

This is by far the best dealership I've ever worked with.  Everyone from sales to finance to management is awesome.  Don't waste you're time at South Point Dodge.
